Ultrasound of the whole abdomne
The liver is normal in size with increased parenchymal echogencity. No focal mass lesion see. the intrahepatic ducts are not dilated.
The common bile duct is not dilated measuring 0.5 cm, in widest visualized diameter.
the gallbladder is normal in size and configuration. Its wall is not thickened. No intraluminal echoes seen.
The pancreas and splee are normal in size and echopattern. No focal mass lesion see. the pancreatic duct is not dilated.
There is no disparity in the size of the kidneys. The right kidney measures 9.3x4.0x3.4 cm (LxWxAP) with cortical thickness of 0.8 cm. The left kidney measures 10.2x3.7x3.5 cm (LxWxAP)with cortical thickness of 0.9 cm. The central echo complexes of both kidneys are intact. The corticomedullary demarcations are well-defined. There is a 1.5x1.6 cm (LxAP) exophytic cystic lesion within the inferior portion of the right kidney. No lithiasis seen.
The urinary bladder is well-distended. Its wall is not thickened. No intraluminal echoes noted within. No significant post-void urinary retention noted.
The prostate is enlarged measuring 4.5x4.8x3.4 cm (LxWxAP) with approximate weight of 40 grams. No focal mass seen. There are inner gland concretions noted. there is no asymmetry in the peripheral zone. The prostate capsule is intact.
No ascites demonstrated.
IMPRESSION
Fatty liver
Exophytic renal cyst, right
Prostatomegaly with inner gland concretions (40 grams)
Normal gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, left kidney and urinary bladder ultrasonically.
Note: This report is based on Ultrasound findings and should be correlated clincally.
